미디어 산업 발전에 초점을 둔 역할
정치적 이념보다는, 한국 미디어 산업의 발전을 앞당기는 입법 현안에 자문을 드리는 데 역할의 무게를 두고 있습니다.
이번 위촉은 그동안 쌓아 온 학술 연구와 산업 분석을 현실의 정책 과제에 적용해 볼 수 있는 기회입니다. 한국의 미디어 지형은 중대한 갈림길에 서 있습니다. 글로벌 플랫폼이 불러온 변화, 사업 모델의 구조적 전환, 그리고 규제 혁신의 필요성을 동시에 마주하고 있기 때문입니다.

I’m honored to share that I’ve been appointed as an advisor to Floor Leader Kim Byung-kee of the Democratic Party of Korea.
On November 13, 2025, I received the official appointment as a policy advisor to the Floor Leader of the Democratic Party, focusing on media industry development and legislative counsel.
A Role Focused on Media Industry Development
Rather than focusing on political ideology, my role centers on providing counsel on legislative matters that advance the development of Korea’s media industry.
This appointment is an opportunity to apply years of academic research and industry analysis to real-world policy challenges. Korea’s media landscape is at a critical juncture, facing disruption from global platforms, structural changes in business models, and the need for regulatory innovation.
Bridging Research and Policy
I look forward to contributing my expertise to help shape policies that strengthen and innovate our media landscape. This is a chance to bridge academic research and policy-making, working toward a more vibrant and competitive media ecosystem for Korea.
